Why Volunteer with Us?

Our amazing seniors love staying active and engaged, and that's where you come in! We need volunteers to share their talents and passions through:

• Book Club Hosting: Lead lively discussions and ignite a love for literature.
• Needlepoint and Crochet: Guide nimble fingers and create cozy masterpieces.
• Painting: Unleash inner artists with colorful sessions and shared creativity.
• Yoga: Promote physical and mental well-being in a gentle and empowering way.
• And so much more! Share your skills, hobbies, or simply a love for good company.

We need your help to ensure that our seniors receive meals on Wednesday afternoons and Fridays at lunchtime. This will only take less than an hour of your time. You can sign up your work team, youth groups, families, Boy and Girl Scouts, or any other group.

Together, we are building a brighter future, where everyone feels connected and supported.Two incredible projects have been completed to enhance connection and accessibility for our seniors:

1. Partnership with Metrolina Greenhouses and Truist Grant building a Vibrant Conversation Space: A patio, cozy seating, and ADA-compliant paths create a welcoming haven for socializing and enjoying fresh air.

2. Multifunctional Laundry Hub with Huntersville Town Grant awarded in  2023: Upgraded for inclusivity, this space now includes a basic needs pantry, standing folding stations, and wheelchair accessibility, making chores easier and support readily available.
